10th U.S. Infantry, 2nd Battalion Spanish American War Video

   The library of Congress has made an amazing collection of early films showing various scenes of troops, ships, and people involved in the Spanish American War, available to the public. 
   These films were made in the time period from 1898 to 1901. The films were made by the Edison Manufacturing Company and the American Mutoscope and Biograph Company. The films show scenes in the United States, Cuba, and the Philippines. The video below is just one of those films. Click here to see more films from this collection.......... 

This Spanish American War video shows the 10th U.S. Infantry, 2nd Battalion, marching by the camera. They are equiped with blankets, guns, knapsacks and canteens.
